But, why do you need a computer type system to turn the vent on and off? Why not a simpler method like a remote on a tv? Hook up a wire that attaches to the vent power and feed it through the port holes on the top of the porta-lung and this wire would attach to a little remote whereby you can turn the machine on or off. While the monitor is on the outside you can still type on the inside. Just have the monitor visiable to the user. There are holes bu which you can feed the cables through. A good respirator like the porta lung which assists your breathing, you can live a full life and reach your highest potential, achieve your goals and dreams. One just needs to have the mental capacity and with the help of technology to achieve those goals. Above all, one has to be motivatived and have the ambition to enrich their life. If one needs and has the Porta lung to give him good air pressure in his lungs along with the motivation to be someone, they are not limited. So true, mcw! Think about it, if you have respiratory problems and you don't feel well and if this lung helped you to rest better and feel good you would be able to be so productive. You would have the energy you needed to work. If you could work with a computer and a phone and your brain you're set to go. Wow! that's an amazing concept.
